I’ll be quiet for the next few days (maybe longer) while I get moved to Seattle. There’s a possibility of a really good job (I have the interview either this or next week) once I get out there, so wish me luck!Good luck!

So in Indiana, the law states that with a Drivers Education Permit, you have to wait 30 days after you turn 16 in order to take the test. June 20th is day 30 for me. I am absolutely freaking out; not because I think I’ll do a bad job (because I’m really not that bad of a driver), but because I have this feeling my nerves will just get the best of me. I haven’t parallel parked in forever, which makes me scared. I also have developed this really bad habit of not stopping when a light turns yellow, even if I should. I generally just go on through; always before it hits red, but yeah. I’m just afraid I won’t make it one of these times.
Any words of advice?
I didn’t pass the written part the first time, but the driving part was really easy for me. For my parallel parking, I just had to pull up beside a lone car and park behind it from there, so it wasn’t even authentic parallel parking.
Thanks for the words of advice from Autumn and Emalee. I took it today, and I will say that I passed with flying colors, though it was definately stressful. You have to take the written portion and pass before you even take the driving portion, and the lady on the phone didn’t tell me that, so I show up to my appointment 10 minutes or so early, and the ladies there start freaking out because I only have 10 minutes to take the written portion and it was 50 questions and they didn’t think I could do it.
I finished the 50 questions in 9 minutes and only missed 2 questions. =)
My parallel parking wasn’t too bad, I almost clipped the car, but I saw it happening before it did so I was able to fix it. ^.^

*Gasp* I’ve been following this development on Twitter, and I must say, I shall miss having an Indiana buddy. =) But good luck out in Washington.

A very nice Twitter client for the iPhone. It has a really fresh looking interface, so if you’re looking for a way to update from your phone, check it out.
Last night my boyfriend and I decided to go see Prince Caspian; we both really liked The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and the previews for this movie looked good.
For the most part, I really enjoyed the movie. I’ve read the books, though it was several years ago and my recall of the details are pretty low, so I can’t do a comparison between the books and the movie.
Even so, something that really grabbed my attention was what a few of the other audience members said once the movie was done, relating to the “overwhelming” Christian themes and how Disney shouldn’t promote any one world religion. Yeah, I picked up on the really blatant themes of the movie and how they were related to Christianity, but come on, it’s a children’s movie. Do we really have to dissect it for the sake of arguing? Why would you spend $7.50 to go see a movie, if you’re only there to find all the different ways that Christianity is represented? It’s a children’s movie, it’s there to entertain.
So this is a tumblr post curtesy of an iPhone application. Its very nice and allows for me to update this thing without being at a computer.
For those of you who are hardcore twitter fans, I just got one. Http://twitter.com/moosetracks114
