“So-called “global warming” is just a secret ploy by wacko tree-huggers to make America energy independent, clean our air and water, improve the fuel efficiency of our vehicles, kick-start 21st century industries, and make our cities safer and more livable. Don’t let them get away with it!“

As part of my English class last fall, I had to give a speech about an issue and give my opinion about it. I chose Global Warming. I said that it exists and offered some ideas on how we could help it. Another kid in my class was also doing Global Warming. He said that it didn’t exist. If I had cited this quote then, I would have won over that debate with my classmates.

amwelles: I’m not a big fan of celebrities in the first place, but (in my opinion) Angelina Jolie has been getting less attractive. And not in the just “getting older” sort of way. (via johnnyfive)   Personally, I think it’s the mother thing. Or maybe its because we’re normal people and don’t find dolled up celebrities appealing?

jessicap: Betty Suarez and Anne Boleyn own the same necklace. Ca-razyy.    They make such a big deal in the novel “The Other Boleyn Girl” its not even funny, though seeing that they jacked the necklace from Ugly Betty is. Haha.

“I have labelled myself as an anti-feminist feminist, and I think it suits me well. The whole female thing is very important to me of course, but then again it’s just as important as the fact that I have two legs and that I come from Iceland. It’s just one of those things. I see so many women constantly questioning themselves. Questioning why they do certain things. There’s this endless analytical process. What they don’t understand is that the main reason men have the freedom to do what they want, and get away with it, is that they don’t question themselves, they just do it. Women should stop doubting themselves because it cages them in and ties them down. They should just do what they want. Don’t take so much shit. If someone tries to make you feel guilty or intimidated, look them straight in the eye and laugh and they’ll probably start to cough in embarrassment. I’d much rather forget what I am, because at the end of the day, at the end of my life, I want to be happy with what I did in it, what I was in it. It doesn’t matter for shit whether I was a boy or a girl. That’s not the point.“

Moving @

amwelles:

So it looks like I’m moving to Tulsa, OK as soon as my dad is ready to move for his new job. I guess it should scare or surprise me, but maybe it just hasn’t felt real yet. It’ll be the first time I’ve lived out of Indiana. Weird stuff. Hopefully I can find something out there to keep me occupied. Kokomo has always been pretty lame in that department, but I’m not really looking for a miracle or anything.

Eeks. You can’t leave me, Autumn. :( Who else can I talk to about the weathers and other random Northern Indiana things?
